I am still learning this too

I have been using Claude for a while now, but I still think of myself as fairly new to it. There is always something I did not know it could do. I am not a developer, and I did not come to this from a technical background.

What I do have is a small creative business, and somewhere along the way it went from a thing I asked the odd question to, into how I get through the week. I use AI to carry the parts I would otherwise outsource or stay up till 2am doing: the website, the writing, the admin, the bits I used to dread. I still make every real decision myself, that part does not get handed off. I taught myself by using it, getting plenty wrong, and slowly working out what actually helps and what just looks clever.

This is me writing that down. Not the polished, official version, but the way I would explain it to a mate sitting next to me: what to install, how to give it a memory so you stop repeating yourself, how to let it use your tools safely, and the handful of habits that make the difference. I am not here to tell you what to do with it. I am here to show you how I use it, and what you can actually get done. If it saves you the long way round, that is the whole point.
